Panther Grapplers come through for Disabled American Veterans

If you haven’t been following, our team decided this winter to use our home dual meet against the Hastings Yellow Jackets as a fundraiser for the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.

The guys took it upon themselves to market the match around the community and fill up the gym with spectators. Fans were asked at the door for a suggested donation, 100% of which went to this awesome cause.

We raised $312 and recently received this letter from DAV acknowledging our donation. Since many of you were at the match contributing to the cause (and regardless you’re all part of the family), we wanted to share the letter with you.

Another great example of our student-athletes living our #PantherTough values and helping others who need it! Really proud of our team!

[Best part of letter: “Dear Mr. Wrestling”!]
